Getting In Tune with an Event

How many times have you gone to an event and everything was great from the decor to the crowd, but the music fell short? Being in charge of the music during an event or even for a road trip can sometimes be intimidating, but if you can get it right, it can take an event to the next level! Oftentimes, music can be an afterthought when planning an event. So much time goes into picking out decorations, making sure the program or flow of the event is just right and before you know it, it's the day of and you find yourself looking for a Spotify playlist. Research has shown that music can affect the mood/atmosphere of an event and influence the experience for those who attend. Music can help add structure to your event. You can clearly mark the beginning and ending with the simple selection of a song. Background music allows guests to feel more comfortable and can fill the void of conversation breaks. The music selection is essentially the backbone of any event. The next time you attend an event, take the time to appreciate the music you are hearing and think about how it makes you feel.

What's New With DJ's EP?

Nothing. That's the hard truth. Sometimes as entrepreneurs, there are moments where you have little to no activity happening in the business. In this case, we are working ON the business by being an active student in the world of entrepreneurship. What does that mean? What does that even look like for DJ's EP?

For starters, DJ's EP is enrolled in a Business Mentorship Program that offers guidance, tools, and strategies for obtaining business funding. So far, we've made GREAT progress in the program with the tools provided and the homework assignments given. Yes, there's homework. What does homework look like in a business mentorship program? Let's just say, you can connect with DJ's EP on all social platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram AND YouTube.
