We are now living in a world where any hobby, hairstyle, project, home renovation, etc., has a DIY method you can find online. Now that does not take away from a professional who has been expertly trained in that specific field, but it shows that many of us can be self-sufficient and successful on our own (with the help of a few instructions lol!) The question we have to ask is "How does this help with event planning?" and the answer is simple. Let's start with decorations, you can log onto Pinterest to find inspiration for flower walls or centerpieces. From there, a craft store will become your best friend as you shop to find the perfect materials to replicate the design. How amazing is it that you can put on an event knowing that your hard work is not only being seen through the event itself, but also in the tiny details. Of course, sometimes DIY is not the way to go. In that case, hiring someone who specializes in what you need is the best option. I don't know about you, but there is nothing better than supporting a small business who can take the stress off of your hands and deliver a final product that exceeds your expectations. What do you prefer, DIY or hiring someone for your event needs? Let us know in the comments below!
